Reader Deals

Thanks to reader Diane S. for e-mailing me about her shopping deals!

I just wanted to let you know that during my trip to the Short Pump
Kroger this morning, I noticed that the Progressive Recipe Starters -
Fire Roasted Tomato variety was on sale for $1!  If you still have the
50 cent off coupon, it will make it free!  I didn't check the prices
of the other flavors to see if they were on sale too, but this
specific one was marked.

Martins:
Bailey's coffee creamer on sale for $1.69 = 69 cents after the $1 off
coupon that was out recently!  Also, I bought 6 boxes of Kleenex this
week (10/$10) and got a $1.50 off my next shopping trip catalina at
check out!  I'm not sure if there is a special deal going on with
Kleenex, so I don't know if that will happen with everyone.  But it
did say "thanks from Kleenex" on it.

Target:
Seattle's Best coffee on sale for $4.99 and there is a $1.50 off
coupon on coupons.com (I was able to print 2!) = $3.49 per bag!
I found a Glade Expressions Mist refill on clearance at the Short Pump
store for $1.68 and had a $1 off coupon = 68 cents!
Target also has ground beef on sale 2/$5 per pound.

Reader Anna commented on this post about her trip at Kroger:
I was just at the broad street Kroger and I didn't go into the aisle, but I did see the Progresso recipe starter Fire Roasted Tomato in the clearance section for $1.39, so 39 cents after the coupons. They also have good deals in the vitamin section. Ester C To Go Vitamin C Packets are BOGO, one is $5.79, so after (2) $2 coupons they're .90 each. Osteo Biflex for joint pain is $20 for one and they're BOGO too and (2) $5 coupons makes it $5 each.
